At Whitetree Web Studio we believe that websites should be designed in a way that ensures they are accessible to everyone. We strive to make the websites we design to be clear and easily read by everyone.

Web Standards

We employ a number of techniques recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) who have created the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

We believe our website conforms to the WAI-A level of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 and will soon conform to the WAI-AA level. In the future we hope to conform to the WAI-AAA level.

We encourage our clients to have a website which conforms to at least the WAI-A level.

This Website

The font size of all text on this website is relative which allows the text to be resized by the browser.

We've used CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to separate layout from content.

All images have an ALT tag describing the image and any information it may contain.

We do not use unnecessary multimedia techniques.

Changing the Text Size

Changing the size of the text on this website and all the website that you visit can easily be done through your browser settings. The technique for doing this is slightly different depending on the browser that you use:

To increase or decrease the text size in Internet Explorer 7:

1. Click on the 'Page' menu in your browser
2. Click on the 'Text size' option
3. Select the size you would like to see. The default is Medium

To increase or decrease the text size in Internet Explorer 6:

1. Click on the 'View' menu in your browser
2. Click on the 'Text size' option
3. Select the size you would like to see

To increase or decrease the text size in Mozilla Firefox:

1. Click on the 'View' menu in your browser
2. Click on the 'Text Size' option
3. Click on the 'Increase' option
